Anyone who has worked with me will tell you that I truly love what I do and wouldn't change it for the world (even after 18 years). That means working with you isn't just another 'job' to me – it's a passion and I'm committed to helping you reach your goals. After all, your success makes me look good, so we're definitely in this together.
I bring a globally savvy outlook and combine deep capabilities in communication, change management and emotional intelligence with my background in Human Resources and Operational leadership.
And it's all done with a generous dose of British humor and good ol' fashioned common sense.
Being a born-and-raised Brit, with US nationality, I work extensively across the different American, European and Latin American cultures and understand there can be a big difference between how things 'should' look on paper and how it actually plays out in your office on a daily basis. I now split my time between the US and London, where my parents still live.
I've worked across many industries, sizes of organizations and structures. While there are definitely common themes in the challenges faced in today's workplace, I'm also a firm believer in recognizing the uniqueness of every team and situation.
From the non-stop frenzy in the media industry to the more subdued world of the banking industry, to the hustle of start-ups, my corporate career took a number of twists and turns that saw me work in London, New York, Los Angeles and Miami. I've also worked with clients across Continental Europe including Italy, Switzerland, Germany, Sweden, Austria, and Hungary.
It was as Head of Human Resources for DirecTV (Latin America), based in Miami, that I first gained invaluable experience in team dynamics within a multi-cultural environment, bringing individuals from the UK, USA and across the Latin American region together to work as a high performing team.
As Global Head of Human Resources for a multinational recruitment and advertising company in London, I sat on the Mergers and Acquisition team responsible for pre-purchase due diligence as well as post-acquisition change management and culture integration issues across the UK, USA, and Europe.
With over 25 years of business experience in both Human Resources and Operational Management, some initiatives I have been involved in include:
Recruiting, mentoring and coaching senior management
Change agent
Strategic leadership and planning
Facilitator of large multi-day conferences
Global cultural-awareness leader
Overseeing major lay-off and hiring programs
Cross-functional project delivery
Introducing Emotional Intelligence awareness across all levels of organizations
Stakeholder and partnership management
Creating Centers of Excellence
Team dynamics
Experience of leading culturally diverse teams across the UK, Western and Eastern Europe, USA and Latin America

Professional Qualifications:

Giving back:
In London I spent five years working with Prince Charles' charity, the Prince's Trust, mentoring young dynamic entrepreneurs overcome hardships and barriers in almost every area of life. One of my proudest moments was being able to take my mother to a Buckingham Palace Garden Party. I was invited in recognition of all the work I undertook with these amazing entrepreneurs – the reality is that I learned so much from them.
Lately, I have been an advisor on ACP AdvisorNet, a non-profit helping returning military find their next career.
