Above all else, I'm a husband as well as a dad to four amazing children, but beyond that, I teach communication and leadership studies, and I research ways that mindfulness can be used to make us all better people. Mostly, I'm intrigued by what happens when we slow down, savor the little moments, and offer the people we are with our full and intentional presence. After working with parents, specifically fathers, for several years, I began writing about ways to reconnect dads with their families on a deeper level, but more than that, we can utilize these techniques in a variety of other contexts, such as education, leadership, organizational structure and development, and community outreach.
