A former Procter & Gamble health and beauty sales executive, who built Fran Harris Enterprises, LLC into a formidable training, coaching and consulting company with current or past clients that include more than 70 Fortune 100 companies, top universities, startups and organizations in over over 10 countries. She recently earned a Diversity, Inclusion & Equity in the Workplace Certificate from USF.
Since 1995, she's authored more than 15 books, and taught business, marketing, sales and writing, creating 50+ courses, and speaking on top digital marketing event stages in the U.S. and U.K. A former ESPN and FOX Sports announcer and HGTV host, Fran's business and marketing thought leadership has landed her on hundreds of television and radio shows including Good Morning America, The Today Show, CNBC, CNN, Fox Business, TLC, Comedy Central, The Tonight Show, Oprah's Radio Network and many others. In 2011, she bested over 15,000 candidates to be named Good Morning America's Advice Guru Runner-Up.
She led the University of Texas to its first and only NCAA championship with a 34-0 record, and was a member of the WNBA's first championship team with the Houston Comets in 1997. She retired from basketball as one of the most decorated players in the state of Texas, the 4th all-time leading scorer in UT's women's basketball history, a two-time UT MVP, Southwest Conference Player of Year, three-time All SWC conference honors, alternate on the U.S.A. Olympic Team, Longhorn Hall of Honor, DISD Hall of Fame and many others. Her documentary, A League Of Our Own, a film about women's professional basketball, will debut in 2022.
Fran recently accepted a deal on ABC's Emmy award-winning business reality TV show, Shark Tank, for her better-for-you sports drink company, ElectraⓇ. She earned a BA & MA in Journalism from UT, and a Masters in Science in Technology Commercialization from UT's acclaimed McCombs School of Business. She's the author of several bestselling books including Bullyproof My Company, which is becoming the go-to playbook for creating culture in companies, startups and organizations worldwide.
