Hajj E. Flemings, ‘The Brand Man’ is a dynamic, energetic speaker, author, and transformational trainer who connects with his audience to challenge people to reach their hidden potential. Hajj is the author of The Brand YU Life, Re-thinking who you are through personal brand management. The book has often been said to be an easy read, while captivating the mind, keeping the reader engaged, and provoking one to re-think who they are.

 

Hajj’s message on personal brand management is a universal one that translates gender, race, age, religion, and politics.  He takes the time old concept of branding, turns it 180 degrees, and changes the lens from a consumer to a producer’s vantage point. He has been featured on radio, TV, print, and even the internet impacting people globally with his message of brand management, brand value, success, and leadership. He travels nationally enabling leaders, employees, ministers, entrepreneurs, students, and sales teams to convert their fears into fuel for their passion and their brand. His branded customers include the General Motors Minority Dealers Association (GMMDA), the Ford NAACP Youth Summit, BlackEnterprise.com, the Detroit Area Pre-College Engineering Program (DAPCEP), and Davison College to name a few.

 

Hajj has taken his creative nature and passion and created a graphical services company, Broken Chains Design Group (BCDG). His clientele includes Skechers Footwear, Lear Corporation, George C. Fraser (PowerNetworking Conference), various universities and churches. BCDG’s creations have been featured in GQ, Men’s Health, Details, and Slam magazines.

 

Hajj, a collegiate athlete turned adjunct lecturer at his alma mater, Michigan Technological University, wrote the personal brand management curriculum and teaches from his book, The Brand YU Life.  He has a BS in Mechancial Engineering (BSME) from Michigan Technological University and a MBA from Lawrence Technological University. He has been recognized as a FraserNet Top Achiever.  He serves on the board of the International Detroit Black Expo, is a business instructor at his church, and was a youth leader for over 10 years.  He resides in Michigan with his lovely wife Kasandra.
