Small town values with international expertise lead to an approachable, insightful and full of fun professional

Everything begins with a thought. If we want a different result, we need to change our thinking because if nothing changes; nothing changes. Tami believes this old world's most valuable resource is people. When we get along well with others while believing in ourselves we are happier, more productive and can truly make a difference. We collectively raise the bottom line of service, integrity and commitment, while meeting our own needs.

Using her experience and strength with warmth and humour, Tami guides individuals, groups, businesses or communities to change their thinking to see where they all fit together. Together, they design, build and keep a vibrant workforce to create productive and rewarding environments for everyone.

An incredible career in the recruitment, management and training areas gives her the background to offer tangible useful tools. Her methods change thought processes in order to improve how people relate, increase effectiveness and ensure congruency. Whether requested for seminars, coaching, or key notes she shares her strategies so people can enjoy the time at their jobs by maintaining harmony in relationships and improving functionality in the work flow.

As the VP Operations of an international recruitment firm she was instrumental in fitting the right people into positions for local and foreign clients. Her role also involved all staff management aspects from hiring and training to bringing out their finest qualities. On the technical side, Tami headed the corporate database systems planning, the entire policy and procedures manual, the ISO pre-qualification, the finance/banking including accounts payable and receivable. She oversaw all levels of administration, holding true to the concept of excellence in customer service. In her earlier career, she provided services as a freelance sign language interpreter and an instructor with continuing education programs at Calgary Board of Education and Mount Royal College. Under the guidance of the team at the Health Care Centre she was privileged to be a life skills coach at the Morley Reserve.

In giving back to the community, she has donated her time with high school and post-secondary students in their transition into the work force and the CALM (Career And Life Management) program.  Over the past 22 years she volunteered with Girl Guides of Canada, 4-H of Canada and several functions for the Deaf / Hard of Hearing groups and Sign Language Interpreters Associations. She has held a wide array of board positions for numerous profit and non-profit organizations and continues to be actively involved in her community.

Passion and compassion are trademarks for Tami. Some people gather collectibles; Tami collects new friends and beasts (animals). Quite outgoing, she has the ability to put others first, making sure they are at ease so they see their best. She is proud to be a mom of her 3 adult children and is grateful to still have the chance to share time with her mom.
