To: Organizations considering Rich Hart, speaker This is Brian Walter, President of Extreme Meetings Inc., a customized communication and infotainment agency. I am writing to highlight my featuring of Rich Hart in a motivational speaking series I produced. It was for a mega-session of the National Speakers Association annual convention, which is attended by 2,000+ participants. My role was to select speakers for a unique communication challenge. We called them "Lightning Rounds." They consisted of 20 slides set to automatically advance every 20 seconds. The speaker had to inform, entertain, or motivate an audience of fellow professional speakers in exactly five minutes and 40 seconds. When I was auditioning speakers to be featured, I found that few could lay out a bold new idea, reinforce it with compelling examples or stories, and align with automatically advancing visuals. Rich was able to do so. That's why I selected him for the all-important anchor position at the end. His program "Lift More" was both a deep exhortation and a proof point with his own personal story of literally lifting more. I especially liked the double meaning of Lift More…as it challenged me to consider going after "heavier" goals.
