Njideka N. Olatunde is first and foremost an "Information Entrepreneur". Her philosophy in sharing information is simple, "make it fun and usable". In sharing information Njideka's job is to expand and empower your mind to evolve from the known to the unknown.
Njideka N. Olatunde Founder and Director of Focus On Healing, Inc. She is a Health and Wealth Empowerment Specialist, public speaker, publisher and author of Reflexology Today: A Family Affair; reflexology consultant to Health Quest, Essence; Sister2Sister; and Heart & Soul magazines; has hosted a radio program called Health Corner and The Healing Experience; a former host and producer of Health Focus on local cable television; a recipient of numerous awards, several published writings and is a member of several health and financial related associations.For over 27 years she has been a promoter of “Reflexology As A Wellness Alternative”. Dr. Olatunde has an extensive 27-year background in consultation and counseling in the areas of health and wellness, preventive approaches to health care, social services, drug treatment, community health and activism.
With an education background that establishes her as a Reflexology Master, because of her training nationally and internationally from the Institute for Integrated Therapies in Washington, D.C.; advanced and instructor training from Digits International Reflexology Institute in Temecula California, International Academy for Reflexology Studies in Cincinnati, Ohio and the Traditional Healing Arts Society of West Africa in Nigeria. Dr. Olatunde holds a bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Long Island University; a master’s from Southwestern University and a Naturopathic and doctorate degree in Natural Health from Clayton College of Natural Health and is a licensed Naturopathic Health Practitioner.
Njideka’s life dedication as a health care activist promoting the cultural integration of complementary health care approaches with conventional medicine, establishing a private practice, developing a certification program, organizing an association awarded her the honor to be the first African American to represent America and non traditional healthcare approaches at the Adult Wellness Conference in the People’s Republic of China and the International Congress on Natural/Traditional Bio-Energetic Medicine in Holguin, Cuba and the Bio-Natural Health and Wellness Conference in Havana, Cuba.
In addition to her healthcare practice, in August of 2000, she founded Financial Empowerment Services, LLC, an educational resource training and support services network. It is through her commitment in sharing health care information and services to the community that a group of health care practitioners and financial business professionals came together to support her vision of helping people know more about money, make healthy lifestyle changes and erase poverty consciousness mentality. Financial Empowerment Services Network is an affiliate of Robert Kiyosaki Rich Dad Poor Dad Network, which supports the goal of the FES network “Health Is Wealth and Wealth Is Health”
