I attended a virtual seminar where Chris was speaking on the subjects of ethics and compliance. Let me be clear in saying that this topic isn't usually among my top most exciting subjects to learn about, and I was expecting a theoretical, fact-based, not-so-interesting-but-you-really-need-to-know session. To my surprise (and delight), Chris created an interactive, engaging, and dare I say, fun experience. He knew how to lighten up an important-but-heavy topic through witty discussion and relevant examples, and made the topic of compliance and ethics applicable to our daily lives. The fact that he was able to do this in a virtual environment made it even more impressive, and speaks to his ability to 'work' a room and engage an unseen audience. I believe that our group came away with some tangible takeaways and to-do's (and what to stop doing), that will have some important long-term results.

Chris Bauer was the closing speaker at our Emerging Leaders Conference last year. We saved his energy and talents for the last slot of the day because we knew he would be able to keep the audience engaged and motivated until the end. He didn't disappoint. In a virtual program, Dr. Bauer was able to take a topic (ethics) that is complex and inaccessible and did more than just explain it in a way that we could all understand. He was able to show us the significant ways that ethics and values come into play in the success of an organization in a way that was entertaining and even fun. We left with a better idea of what we needed to know, and more importantly what action steps to take. I would highly recommend organizations use Chris' talents to help everyone on your team understand how values and ethics can help your organization avert a potential disaster, and more importantly to make your organization stronger.
