He is the founder of SEEK, a national support group that helps the terminally ill and their families deal with chronic illness and end-of-life issues. He is the author of three books on wellness.

In 1978, Dr. Frangipane established a highly successful surgical practice in the Reading area of Eastern Pennsylvania. As a surgeon Dr. Leo supported and nurtured patients as they faced illness, disease and sometimes their own mortality. His patients, whose trials forced them to face fear and anger, looked to him for help in making tough decisions about their medical treatment and eventual future. During that time Dr. Leo was there for them, lending his expertise and providing a foundation of support. It was this close involvement with such people during the worst times of their lives, that allowed Dr. Leo to get in touch with his own spirituality and the ultimate knowledge that his patients were the core of this being.

Dr. Frangipane blends the qualities of spirituality, medical expertise and inner understanding that he has acquired from his patients, applying them to motivate people to make a positive change in their own lives and their own perspectives for daily living. As a "hope broker" it is his mission to aid others by delivering an enlightening message of determination and faith, joy and love, strength and nobility all tempered with humor and courage.
