Lieutenant Commander Chip Lutz
CSP, USN(Ret)
WI, USLieutenant Commander Chip Lutz, CSP is a leader who's been there, done that, and has the uniform to prove it!
Leadership is my passion. As a leadership keynote speaker, my goal is to give your team tools they can put into action immediately. My leadership presentations are packed with content, tempered with humor and as interactive as your crowd can handle. What sets me apart as a leadership speaker is that I've actually led. From handing the chaos on six Naval bases in Washington, DC during September 11th, 2001 to my two Command tours while in the Navy (and a lot of jobs in between), I've been in the trenches and know what it takes to move a team from one place to another.
Plus, I'm funny. WHAT!? A funny leadership speaker? YES! Just ask me, I'll tell you.
Books? Yes, I've written five (only four that I'm proud of...the first one was a dog (we can talk about that one over a beer)). They're available on Amazon or can be rolled into a package if you bring me in to share leadership strategies with your team. They, too, are packed with content and are tempered with humor (and make an awesome gift for people you truly care about). My Mom has all of them and raves to all of her friends about how smart her favorite son is.
Theory is nice but application is what works. I know both. When you're thinking about bringing a leadership speaker in, you obviously have something you're looking to get done. I want to help you get that done and will work with you in advance to get all the information before the program so that we hit the target together and everyone wins.
As a side note...(written in third person to make me sound cooler):
Chip has earned the Certified Speaking Professional® (CSP) designation. Conferred by the National Speakers Association, the CSP is the speaking profession's international measure of professional platform competence.
Only 12 percent of the 5,000 + speakers worldwide, who belong to the Global Speakers Federation, currently hold this professional designation.
Chip knows what it takes to connect, inspire, and keep people engaged! He has been fire tested and is mother approved!
What people say:
"My whole team came to life when Chip shared his message of Uncommon Sense. We ended our day with big smiles and lessons we will put into practice. Every organization will benefit from this positive message."
- John Thibodeau, VP, Gateway College
"You captivated the room from beginning to end not leaving a dry eye in the room from laughing and getting truly engaged. I was able to utilize what you taught immediately!"
- Toby Atkinson, PHR
"Our people LOVED you! Yours is a very important message about the work of leaders, the importance of a positive attitude, and having fun along the way. You did an excellent job of balancing a serious topic with a LOT of very good humor, and delivering it all with a ton of energy."
