In 2008, Dr. Cash received a U.S. Patent for her ingenious idea for music during surgery.  In 2009 she launched Surgical Serenity Solutions, which creates and markets cordless, pre-programmed headphones for patients having joint-replacement surgery, labor and delivery, colonoscopies, cataract surgeries, or dental work, to name a few.
