Writes popular column for USA Today, The Final Word
Craig Wilson, a columnist for USA Today for the last eight years, has been a journalist for over 30 years. A graduate of the SI Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University, he worked at newspapers in the Adirondack region of New York State before joining USA Today in 1984 as a feature writer.

His column runs every Wednesday in the paper’s LIFE section. His book, “It’s the Little Things” will be published by Random House this fall. It’s a compilation of his USA Today columns, many of them touching on the little things in life that mean so much – Adirondack chairs, cottages at the lake, clotheslines and the wooden screen door that bangs its way through the summer.

He lives in Washington, DC, with his partner Jack, and a feisty Wheaton Terrier names Murphy
