Bob Levey is an award-winning columnist for The Washington Post and an influential member of Washington’s journalistic community for more than 34 years. His experience spans all aspects of the media -- print, radio, television and the Internet, and in all areas including news covering politics, local news, sports and features. As a result, he has been asked to speak for hundreds of businesses, social and college groups across the country and is rated one of the top speakers in the country.

His column, “Bob Levey’s Washington,” has appeared in the Post five times a week since 1981 and looks at all aspects of life in the Nation’s Capital. During his three decades at the Post, Bob Levey has covered Presidential politics, Congress, local news, features, and sports. In 1985 and again in 1988, he was named one of the top five columnists in Washington by Washingtonian Magazine. He was also named one of the top columnists in the United States by the Washington Journalism Review.

Last year, Levey released his third book “Washington Album: A Pictoral History of the Nation’s Capital,” a 200-page illustrated history of the local city, he co-authored with his wife, Jane Freundel Levey.
