UT, USIn 1981 Linda and her six year-old son were both diagnosed with Muscular Dystrophy. Then in 2003, they were both diagnosed with an additional terminal illness; one so rare that only 300 people in the world have been diagnosed in the past 45 years.
Linda and Jeremy now share their story and their courage with others, answering the question, “How do you find your new normal when nothing is normal anymore?”.

Linda has served as a Medical Administrator, Medical Assistant and Instructor of Medical students, for over 30 years. Her love for teaching and mentoring shines through in her ability to connect, instruct, and motivate as she speaks. She is the author of two books, “It’s Time To Fly” and “Finding Your New Normal”. Linda has been married to Lee for 33 Your New Normal”. Linda has been married to Lee for 33 Your New Normal”. Linda has been married to Lee for 33 years and is a mother and grandmother. At the age of 6 Jeremy served two consecutive terms as the Muscular Dystrophy Poster child for the Jerry Lewis Telethon. He thrilled thousands as he sang his message of decided that his wheelchair was stopping him from achieving his goals. He determined not to use his chair again! Against all odds, or understanding of physicians - he walks! Now 32 years old, 6' 2" and barley over 100 lbs. doctors are still in awe of this miracle calling him the “Stick Man”. He is proficient at drums and billiards - a perfect example of the power of intention! Together Linda and Jeremy have a message you won’t forget!
