Crystal has also ran a 100km ultra-marathon to raise funds for Partners in The Horn Of Africa and has raised over $27,000, helping over 400 female entrepreneurs in Ethiopia start their own businesses! Through her success, Crystal is regularly featured in the media and has been a finalist for the Enterprising, Dynamic, Dedicated Youth Awards (EDDY) and her story is a regular feature on CHBC Television. A member of the Canadian Junior Chamber, Crystal has won many local and national awards, and was honoured as Canada's National Effective Speaking Champion. She went on to represent Canada against winners from other Nations and placed second in this International Competition.
