A world class disaster medicine expert and Chair of the American Board of Disaster Medicine.

"DON'T JUST MANAGE THE INCIDENT--MASTER THE DISASTER!"

At times, disasters big and small make it seem like the world's gone mad. Whether it's man's inhumanity to his fellow man, terrorist nuclear destruction or the destruction of the nuclear family, it is planning and preparedness that provide the resilience you need not only to survive but also to thrive in our new world reality.

Dr. Dave McCann provides not only the knowledge you need to ensure your physical, intellectual and emotional preparedness, but also the wisdom and faith example you need to enlighten your spiritual resilience.

Dr. McCann is a board-certified family doctor with almost two decades of experience in both urban and rural medical practice. Currently Chief of Medicine at Miller County Hospital in Colquitt, GA and Georgia's Advanced Cardiac Life Support National Faculty, he is also Clinical Assistant Professor in the Departments of Family Medicine and Emergency Medicine at Mercer University School of Medicine in Macon, GA.

Dr. McCann is the Chief Medical Officer of Florida One Disaster Medical Assistance Team with the US Department of Health & Human Services--one of the nation's premier disaster response medical teams. Having coordinated medical operations at such disaster sites as Port Charlotte, FL after Hurricane Charley, Bay St. Louis MS after Hurricane Katrina and Chalmette, LA after Hurricane Rita, he is a widely respected expert in disaster response and recovery both in the governmental and private sectors. In fact, Dr. McCann is the newly elected Chair of the American Board of Disaster Medicine--the world's first physician board of certification in the specialty of Disaster Medicine.

As the homeschooling father of five children and happily married for seventeen years, Dr. McCann is a devout Catholic man whose Christ-centered approach to life and medical practice is unabashed and refreshing.
