As a Customer Relations Manager, I collaborate with employees, customers, and multiple departments within our organization daily. It has been great to have Doug visit with us a second time. Doug was able to streamline the training to fit our company needs. Our goal was to help employees build trust and develop better communication and stronger relations, throughout the organization and with customers. He helped our teams recognize the power each person has and that as a team we can accomplish anything. In the Telecommunication Industry we work hard to improve our culture, and changes never stop. Doug was able to excite the employees to see they have total control over each day and can determine their own success in life or at work. The Fall Leadership Conference Workshop, which you were our guest speaker, for our All Staff full day workshop was exceptional. You hit it out of the park. You have presented for our team in the past, as well as being a speaker for the CUES Rocky Mountain Council and you never disappoint. I've had the pleasure of listening to Doug Nielsen speak and would highly recommend him. Doug spoke to Idaho Central's leadership team, which consisted of over seventy-five participants including the CEO. The topic was, The Core Connected Leader. After 9 years, an audience member write to share how Doug's keynote is still impacting her life: June 2018 I was fortunate to hear a presentation by Doug back in 2009 at a NALTA Conference. He approached me after finishing his presentation and told me that after speaking publicly for a number of years he could tell when his message was truly touching someone by the look in their eyes and face. As the audience was clearing the room, he asked if I had time to sit and visit with him. Doug then proceeded to ask me what had recently occurred in my life that made his message seem so important to me--why I needed to hear it at that moment in my life. I told Doug I had just been released from the hospital 3 1/2 weeks prior to attending the NALTA conf. My right lung had filled with blood clots due to a combination of medication and a previously undiagnosed blood disorder called Factor V Leiden. So his Take Life by the Helm was especially timely for me having come so close to death. His presentation was what I needed to hear and our talk helped me find ways to push forward. Doug made a difference in my life and I know his message of personal ownership and direction on how to take control of your own life can help others too. Actually I would give anything to see him just one more time and to personally hug his neck and share with him how his message is still changing how I deal with the day to day struggles in my life after almost 10 years. Sometimes you just know when you're in the right place and it's the right time to hear a message as it was for me on that September day.

Thank you again for your inspiring presentation to our attendees during Women's Conference. They all loved the practical tools they can use in their lives, but also the fun parts of your talk as well. Dear Doug: For the last four years at Morgan Stanley and the last 10 years in the Call Center industry I have been a training coordinator and have organized group events and conferences for our different working groups, and I have never had such a positive experience with a motivational speaker.
