In addition, Dr. Smith consults with educational institutions to improve learning opportunities for educators and students, teaching academic and social empowerment strategies. She is frequently a guest speaker and lecturer for professional organizations, church and civic groups, schools, political events, and sorority affairs. You can find her delivering a commencement address at a university, speaking to a group of youth at an inner city school, or working with the senior leadership in a corporation. Showing her comfort with diversity, Dr. Robin is at home in all these worlds. She also enjoys her role as an adjunct professor at Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Dr.Robin earned her Ph.D. in counseling psychology from Temple University, her master’s degree from Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary, and has an undergraduate degree from LaSalle University. She was affiliated with Psychological Services at Swarthmore College, a former member of the Board of Directors of Albert Einstein Medical Center, Belmont Hospital, and Eagleville Hospital, a drug and alcohol rehabilitation facility. She also served on the Advisory Board of the Barristers' Association of Philadelphia.

Dr. Smith's first book was "Inspirational Vitamins, A Guide To Personal Empowerment." She is working on two other books: a children's book and a relationship book for couples.
