Become an Unstoppable Force of Nature! Fun, inspiring keynotes and workshops that bring your career dreams to life.
Andy Saks knows jobs. His working life began at the age of fourteen, as a tour guide at the Revolutionary War battle site in his hometown of Lexington, MA. He would tell the story of the Battle of Lexington, and then extend his tri-cornered hat and beg for tips. Since then, Andy has sampled jobs across the spectrum - from scooping ice cream, to interning on Capitol Hill, to selling interactive marketing programs for America Online. He has literally shined the shoes of Hollywood movie executives, performed improv comedy at a brewery, and appeared as an extra in the film ""BASEketball."" For six years, Andy has also run his own corporate public speaking business, acting on camera and on stage for companies like AMD, Federal Express, Mitsubishi, and Olympus. He has engaged crowds at trade shows from Los Angeles to Johannesburg, employing his signature blend of energy, warmth, and humor to speak on everything from cameras to software to robots. Andy's passion for career choice emerged from his own career search. Disappointed by the tedious, expensive, and lackluster approach of traditional counseling and testing, he eventually discovered cutting-edge methods of The Rockport Institute, and its signature book, ""The Pathfinder."" Andy partnered with Rockport's founder, Nick Lore, and developed a series of keynotes and workshops to help people design and discover their career dreams. His mission is to help people break out of their ""career hell,"" invent new possibilities for themselves, and build a roadmap to their perfect careers. Andy is a graduate of the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. He currently lives in the Boston area with his cat Kayleigh, and can usually be found rollerblading, playing on his iMac, or searching for really good sushi.
