Charlie Dismore is a native of Dallas, Texas. At the age of 19, he joined the U.S. Marine Corps, retiring after 20 years service. As an engineer officer, duty assignments took him around the world, some locations including Hawaii, Japan, Mediterranean Europe, and a year of combat duty in Vietnam. During his last 8 years of military service, he served as Facilities Engineer, managing the physical assets of two large government installations.

Returning to civilian life in Dallas, Charlie specialized in managing and leasing large real estate portfolios comprised of commercial and corporate properties for well-known national firms. He holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, a master's degree in Political Science, five professional designations, and real estate broker's license.

Charlie has taught management, business and real estate courses at both the undergraduate and graduate levels for four colleges and universities, and is a nationally recognized authority in commercial and corporate real estate. He serves as a national instructor for the Building Owners and Managers Institute, and speaks at national conventions, regional and local organizations across the country. Charlie is a member of the Institute of Real Estate Management, Building Owners and Managers Association, and International Facilities Management Association. He is active with his church and enjoys jogging, flying, singing and performing in musical theater productions. He is a long-time member of the National Speakers Association, and holds a commercial pilot's license with Instrument and Certified Flight Instructor ratings.

Charlie and wife, Sharon, are the parents of three grown children and have five grandchildren. He operates his own professional speaking, training and consulting business home-based in Austin, Texas.
