Andrew is a TEDx and CPD accredited speaker, podcaster and author, on a mission to prevent burnout, and create resilient communities, where people truly feel that they belong and are safe to speak openly about how they feel.

Andrew is a CPD accredited, TEDx and keynote speaker, podcaster and author, leading in his work on men’s mental health and burnout, serving diverse organisations with insightful, content-rich talks, which draw on lived experience, global research and the stories of his podcast guests, whilst delivering practical take-away strategies in his own down-to-earth and entertaining style.

From the language of elite sport and how to apply it when times are tough, to busting burnout myths and how to create psychological safety, Andrew is a sought-after wellbeing/mental health speaker, working with diverse organisations from Specsavers to HSBC, National Highways to University of Liverpool, The Crown Estate, NHS trusts and countless councils.

Andrew delivers engaging keynote talks to inspire change. He’s the author of ‘Honestly Man: Why masculinity feels confusing, shame doesn’t help and what to do about it’, a book which is due for publication in August 2026 (with all profits raised from book sales, being invested in charities supporting men and boys).

Andrew is also a lived-experience speaker on domestic abuse, exploring common questions like:

- Why do people stay?

- How do people get drawn into abusive relationships?

- How would we spot the signs?

- How do we effectively support our colleagues?

As an optimist and happily married man today, his approach to what is a hard-hitting topic, is both sensitive and positive. His popular TEDx talk now has 145K views on YouTube and is one of only a handful of TED/TEDx talks exploring the taboo topic of female-perpetrated violence.

Andrew is a podcaster, whose podcast, Men on Show has gone beyond 50 episodes and celebrates the stories of every-day male heroes, and the work of leading researchers in the men’s wellbeing field, exploring the impact of topics on mental health such as PTSD, Sobriety, Addiction, Suicide, Gang culture, Disability, Resilience, Education, Childlessness, Fatherhood and Adventuring.

He’s also an award-winning campaigner for his work in campaigning for wellbeing and gender unity.

Andrew is a father of 5, including 2 grown-up daughters and 3 boys under 11, which means he’s a bribery guru, blackmailing expert, triage nurse, warzone reporter, experienced diplomat, health and safety adviser, obsessive de-clutterer, unappreciated fashion consultant and long-suffering agony aunt.
