Dr. Galindo is an accomplished educator, scholar, and former journalist with a rare combination of academic expertise and real-world media experience. Since 2016, she has designed and taught online college courses at various higher education institutions across the United States, focusing on adult learning, global online education, and innovative digital teaching methods.

Her academic credentials demonstrate a lifelong dedication to learning and teaching excellence. She holds a Ph.D. in Culture, Literacy, and Language and an M.A. in Bicultural-Bilingual Studies from UTSA, as well as an M.Ed. in Lifelong Learning and Adult Education with a focus on Global Online and Distance Education from Penn State University. Her communication background is rooted in a B.A. in Communications, which continues to influence her engaging, student-centered approach.

Before entering higher education, Dr. Galindo spent 16 years as a journalist in Spanish-language print media in Mexico and the United States. This extensive media career sharpened her storytelling skills, cultural insights, and critical perspective, qualities that now define her work as an adult educator and speaker.

A passionate lifelong learner, Dr. Galindo continually incorporates emerging research and best practices into her teaching. She has completed the Certificate in Media and Technology for Education at Harvard University, ACUE’s Effective Online Teaching Practices Certificate, and multiple institutional certifications. Recently, her work has focused on Artificial Intelligence and its practical, ethical, and pedagogical applications in higher education.

In March 2026, she published "Entreactos: vida y teatro de Honorato Teissier" with Paso de Gato Ediciones in Mexico, an accessible yet scholarly exploration of the life and legacy of a Mexican theater actor in the early twentieth century. She is currently developing her second book and brings extensive expertise in the humanities, media, cultural studies, and genealogy to her speaking engagements.
