Joanne Calderon-Arkenburg is an Identity & Forgiveness Expert, Speaker, Author, and Founder of Living Aware Not Afraid. She inspires audiences to discover their identity, embrace forgiveness, build confidence, and live with purpose and courage.

I am an Identity & Forgiveness Expert, Speaker, Author, and RAD Self-Defense Instructor dedicated to helping individuals move from pain to purpose, strengthen their confidence, and live with greater awareness and freedom.

Through keynote speaking, workshops, and hands-on training, I empower women to reclaim their identity, overcome limiting beliefs, establish healthy boundaries, and develop the confidence to navigate life’s challenges with resilience and purpose.

My unique approach combines personal transformation, forgiveness, self-awareness, and practical safety education. I believe true empowerment begins when people recognize their value, find their voice, and refuse to allow past experiences to define their future.

As the founder of Living Aware, Not Afraid, I also provide personal safety and self-defense education that equips individuals with practical tools to increase awareness, make confident decisions under pressure, and create safer environments for themselves and others.

In addition, I am passionate about human trafficking awareness and prevention, helping organizations, communities, and hospitality professionals recognize warning signs and become part of the solution.

My mission is simple: to help people discover who they are, embrace the freedom of forgiveness, and live with confidence, purpose, and courage.
