Esq.
GA, USAudiences will learn how we can assist sex trafficking survivors to expunge (clear) their criminal records so they can move on with their lives, the amazing strength of a survivor I met while assisting her as a volunteer lawyer, and why trafficking behavior in our community matters.
I am a female health care lawyer whose life was changed when I volunteered to assist with a sex trafficking survivor's legal matter. I have practiced law for over 30 years and can help your company demonstrate the benefits of volunteering, the importance of pro bono legal work, and how one person volunteering can change another person's life. We will journey through the challenges, the wins, and the importance of not giving up when a small project took much longer and was much more difficult than expected. Audiences will learn first-hand why it is important not to ignore trafficking in their communities and why we should use our time, talents and resources to help women (and men) who have been trafficked.
I went to North Georgia College and graduated from the University of Georgia's School of Law. I have worked extensively in the area of health care law.
