Clint Prange
Emerging leaders will leave knowing exactly how to trade excuses for execution and habits for results using a proven formula that works.
Emerging Leader | Athlete | Agribusiness Professional | Grit-Driven Change Maker
Clint Prange’s journey is forged through relentless effort, disciplined habits, and an unshakable commitment to outperform yesterday’s best. A standout collegiate athlete who transformed competitive fire into professional leadership, Clint now inspires growth and ownership both on the field and in the boardroom.
Born and raised in Shelbyville, Missouri, Clint’s drive became unmistakable at Northwest Missouri State University, where he established himself as one of the most dominant throwers in NCAA Division II history. A six-time All-American and three-time NCAA national champion in the discus, Clint also captured the 2005 outdoor shot-put national title with a throw of 66 feet, 1 inch, a mark that stood as the NCAA Division II national record for 11 years. Along the way, he set and continues to hold multiple Bearcat records across indoor and outdoor events. His athletic excellence earned induction into the Northwest M-Club Hall of Fame, the MIAA Conference Hall of Fame, and the NCAA Division II Athlete Hall of Fame.
Equally fierce in the classroom, Clint graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Business and later earned a Master of Science in Agriculture, pairing elite performance with academic discipline earning the MIAA Ken B. Jones award and a postgraduate NCAA scholarship.
Transitioning from the throwing circle to the field of leadership, Clint built a diverse career across ag finance, seed, and agronomy. He now serves as a Regional Business Manager for Beck’s Hybrids, where he blends a competitive mindset with strategic leadership to help farmers and teams win across the central United States. In his professional work, Clint applies the same habit-based discipline that defined his athletic career, breaking down ambitious goals into consistent daily actions that drive measurable results.
Beyond his professional leadership, Clint is a devoted family man and active farmer, raising soybeans, corn, wheat, and cattle in Shelby County with his wife and three children. He also serves the broader agricultural community as a director with the Missouri Soybean Association, advocating for farmer freedoms and policies that protect generational legacies.
Clint’s story is about habits over hype, intentional growth, and unlocking more than what others believe possible. Whether coaching technique, leading teams, or speaking to emerging leaders, he champions one core truth: success is a predictable outcome of the disciplines you commit to every day.
