As someone who has lived through war, displacement, and cultural adaptation, Nhi deeply understands what it means to face adversity, rebuild from nothing, and thrive across identities. Her story has been featured in Colorado Public Radio (CPR), Harvey Brownstone Interviews, Jewish News, Westword Newspaper, and several anthologies, including Kentucky Women: Two Centuries of Indomitable Spirit and Vision.
Nhi’s diverse background is captivating. At the age of twelve, Nhi escaped war-torn Vietnam alone and arrived in the United States as a refugee. She was adopted by a loving Christian family in the South and, years later, married a Jewish man and converted to Judaism in 2004. Today, Nhi and her husband are proud parents of two children who celebrate both Vietnamese and Jewish cultures.
Nhi’s talks blend humor, heart, and practical insight, helping audiences strengthen their resilience, improve communication, and lead with empathy. Whether she’s addressing CEOs, educators, or community leaders, Nhi inspires people to rise above their circumstances and connect across differences.
