BUSINESS EXPERIENCE
Patrick’s coaching career began when a consulting client asked him if he would also provide some leadership coaching to his top team. Patrick soon realized that he was adept and well suited in supporting leaders becoming more impactful and potent. His business background in operations, technology and R&D informs Patrick’s work as an executive coach. He works with leaders primarily in tech and biotech, health care, construction and higher ed.
Prior to concentrating his work primarily on executive coaching Patrick served as an OD and change management specialist who focused on cultural change and large systems implementations. In this work, Patrick partners with executive leadership to articulate an approach that maximizes engagement, knowledge sharing, and quality communication throughout the organization so that stakeholder buy-in is ensured.
SAMPLE ASSIGNMENTS
· Coached 25 Leaders over 15 years from a large Healthcare Organization. 80% got promoted at least once.
· Coached 20 Sr. Leaders of a large construction company working to re-establish their brand presence and business focus post acquisition.
· Coached the leadership team of a tech security firm. CEO said he had never seen a leadership team so skillfully facilitated.
· CEO of global start up: Helped CEO to engage successfully with his team. Prior to our work he and his company had negative GlassDoor reviews resulting in losses of key exec leaders and inability to attract new talent.
· VP Tech Company: Got promoted during our coaching to SVP based on his ability to deliver the company's most profitable product. Told his boss the coaching was business centric and created much more impact than he anticipated.
· VP Tech Company: Got promoted during our work together. Was enabled by his shift from being the best "doer" to a leader that others would follow.
· Served as lead coach and account manager for a large multi-year Onboarding program for UC Berkeley.
· Coached majority of Executive leaders for small marketing communications company awarded as “best In class“ and now recognized as an industry leader in marketing communications. The company is now a major marcomm entity.
· Led the Change Management program for a major global food company that moved from abacus to SAP for their financials.
· Developed a very successful program to transition the HR team of 300 from transaction focused to consultative.

Patrick’s extensive education includes an M.S. in Organizational Development from the JFK School of Management and a B.A. in Psychology from Tufts University. He is also a Certified Master Business Coach through Leadership University and certified through the Boss Whispering Institute. He recently completed the Accelerating Coaching Excellence (ACE) program. He is the author of Managing Up with Tony Deblauwe and is a contributing author to a book on women and leadership entitled “Taking the Stage- Breakthrough Stories from Women Leaders”.
Additionally, he has extensive international experience working with a variety of clients in both Mexico and Asia.
