Don M. Smith is the Senior Pastor of Firm Foundation Ministries in Centreville, Michigan, where he leads with a heart for discipleship, biblical leadership, and church health. He and his wife, Lisa, have served in ministry since 1993, devoting their lives to helping people live with purpose and lead with faith.
Don’s ministry journey began in Florida, where he was involved in prison ministry and traveled across the South preaching in tent revivals. He later served as an elder and co-pastor before stepping into senior pastoral leadership. In 2003, Don and his family moved to Michigan, where he continues to pastor and mentor leaders today.
Under his leadership, Firm Foundation Ministries has grown into a church centered on discipleship and church planting. Don helped launch EDGE Bible College, a fully accredited institution designed to equip believers for effective ministry. He is also the author of With Total Abandon, a discipleship resource focused on leadership training and team ministry principles.
Together, Don and Lisa travel around the world teaching church leadership, conducting marriage seminars, and strengthening churches in countries such as Brazil, Guatemala, Nicaragua, the Dominican Republic, England, and Canada. Their mission is to see churches become healthy, life-giving communities that raise up leaders to impact the world for Christ.
