Jim Hatchell is a dynamic speaker, coach, trainer, and lifelong learner whose mission is to inspire and equip leaders to reach their fullest potential. With more than 30 years of distinguished service, Jim is a proud military veteran who served in the South Carolina Air National Guard and the United States Air Force. Rising to the role of Chief Master Sergeant, he held key leadership positions including Chief of Recruiting Operations for the Air National Guard in Washington, D.C., Director of the Office of Employment and Compensation for the National Guard Bureau, and Director of Human Resources for the South Carolina Department of Juvenile Justice.
Today, Jim serves as Executive Director of Palmetto Leadership LLC and as an Executive Director with the Maxwell Leadership Team. He has coached, trained, and spoken to thousands of leaders across business, government, and faith-based organizations, blending his military discipline, Maxwell leadership principles, and authentic storytelling. Jim’s audiences don’t just hear a speech—they experience transformation. They leave inspired with the clarity, courage, and tools to grow, lead with integrity, and lift others.
Grounded in faith and family, Jim lives in Lexington, South Carolina with his wife, Dale. Together they are active servant leaders, entrepreneurs, and proud grandparents of three.
