Jenny is a seasoned educator, leader, and innovator with over 30 years of experience in school leadership and educational transformation. She was the Founding Principal of a private school in South Africa, where she served for 20 years and established a strong culture of excellence and innovation. As Head of School, Jenny’s responsibilities included all project, stakeholder, financial, academic, cultural, sporting, fundraising, facilities, and human resource management aspects.


One of her key contributions to her community was pioneering GLS Next Gen (previously YGLS) in South Africa, making her school the first in the country to host this leadership event for students. She also hosted the GLS Premier event at her local church for four years. Jenny has attended the Global Leadership Summit annually for the past 19 years and witnessed firsthand its life-changing impact—both professionally and personally, including in her own family.


Her passion for leadership development extends globally—she currently leads an online International Women’s Leadership Network cohort and is a certified Coach, Speaker, Trainer. While she is proudly South African, she now calls the Netherlands home after relocating in 2024.


Jenny identifies herself as a wife, mother of four young adults, and a lifelong leadership advocate. She remains committed to empowering the next generation, particularly through the GLS Next Gen platform, which she views as both a vital tool and a responsibility for shaping future leaders. In 2025, she is fulfilling a long-awaited dream of attending the GLS live event in Chicago and sharing her message with GLS Next Gen audiences.


Jenny holds a BSc (Honours) in Wildlife Management, a BSc in Zoology and Genetics, a Diploma in Higher Education, and Cambridge Biology and Environmental Management certifications, along with a TEFL qualification. Her uncommon training in venomous snake handling adds to the depth of life experience she brings to every story she tells—stories of risk, adaptability, and transformation. Throughout her career, Jenny has guided schools through seasons of change, built thriving cultures, and inspired educators and students alike to lead themselves and others with purpose.
