Dr. Said Eshaghi is a speaker, life coach, and author whose mission is to help people break free from false and limiting beliefs so they can reach their fullest potential. He teaches that false beliefs — the untrue assumptions we accept without question — are the root cause of limiting beliefs, which quietly dictate what we think is possible. His philosophy is rooted in one central truth: the only thing we can control is our mindset, and our mindset shapes our choices, which in turn shape our actions — and ultimately, our life.
Born in Iran, Said experienced his first defining moment of courage at age 15, when his parents made the selfless and dangerous decision to send him and his brother out of the country with a human smuggler to escape an oppressive regime. That act of love and bravery set him on a lifelong pursuit of freedom — not only physical freedom, but the mental and spiritual freedom that comes from questioning inherited beliefs, releasing the ones that hold us back, and choosing our own values.
Driven by a deep purpose to contribute to humanity, he pursued science with a singular passion, rising to the pinnacle of his career as a leading researcher in Singapore. But at that high point, something subtle but profound happened: his personal growth had not kept pace with his performance success. Without realizing it, he had lost the clarity and focus that had fueled his journey. Ego quietly stepped in, shifting his attention from his deeper “why” to “the what” — prestige, recognition, and material success.
That loss of clarity led to a move to The Scripps Research Institute in the U.S. — a prestigious position, but one misaligned with his deeper purpose. From there, the drift continued: into real estate for the promise of quick financial gains, and later into a life insurance company he would ultimately recognize as a cultish organization. The cost was high — financial strain, the near loss of his family, and the painful realization that he was no longer living in alignment with his values.
The turning point came gradually, through the process of writing his memoir Escape from Comfort and deeply reflecting on his journey. The final breakthrough arrived while reading John C. Maxwell’s The 15 Invaluable Laws of Growth, where he discovered the first law: growth must be intentional, not accidental. In that moment, the dots connected — he saw that had he kept personal growth as his primary focus while at his scientific peak, he would have stayed hungry, grateful, and purpose-driven. The loss of clarity would never have happened.
Today, Dr. Said Eshaghi teaches the principles he lives by: freedom, courage, mindset mastery, integrity, and contribution. His story is a blueprint for anyone who wants to live and lead with purpose: question and replace false beliefs, break free from limiting beliefs, grow on purpose, and never lose sight of your “why.”

Said Eshaghi is one in a million. Life changing. He came and spoke at our real estate team meeting and told his story. It was incredible, inspiring, thought provoking, and made me look inward as I connected with a lot of the insights that he found along his journey as they were attributes I wanted to develop in myself like grit, determination, and execution. I can not recommend him enough not only for his speaking but coaching as well! An all around amazing human.

Said's presentation on DISC profiles was very concise and informative. All of our agents were able to get what the next steps they need to take. They learned how to integrate what they learned about DISC into their business and how to interact on their next meeting with a client. It was an amazing training and I hope he can come back.
