Her credentials include her personal experience of serving as a school principal for five years, and she has served multiple times as an Accreditation Committee Member for schools.
She has the honor of holding the title of 2025 AFI Washington Navy Yard Spouse of the Year. As a dedicated military spouse, she has embraced the challenges and opportunities of military life with compassion and resilience. Having moved cross-country multiple times, she has built lifelong friendships and found strength in the military community. Her leadership extends beyond her role as a Navy spouse—she proudly serves on the executive board of the Army Spouse Club of the Greater Washington Area, planning events that foster connection and support. Passionate about education and wellness, she advocates for military children’s academic success and regularly provides resources to families navigating unique educational challenges. Through speaking engagements, online platforms, and community events, she empowers military spouses with tools for personal growth, self-care, and educational advocacy.
