She obtained a BS in Business Administration and a JD from St. Louis University, a JD from St. Louis University School of Law, and subsequently held positions in the Human Resources departments of a hospital, university, and a law firm. While pursuing her JD, Michelle completed sufficient coursework to be awarded the Certificate in Employment Law offered by the William C. Wefel Center for Employment Law at St. Louis University School of Law. She later completed her Master of Arts in Christian Ministry from Missouri Baptist University with an emphasis on Professional Education.  After obtaining her JD, Michelle has held various business positions and is a business and legal studies instructor.


Michelle has dedicated her life to service in the community, ministry, and for children as an advocate for a better foster and adoption system. She has facilitated numerous learning sessions with Federally Employed Women, the Department of the Army Federal Logistics Center, INROADS St. Louis, Inc., the National Association of Professional Women, Job Corps, Urban League Young Professionals, the St. Louis Internship Program, the Association of Legal Administrators, and Thompson Coburn LLP, to name a few.


As a strategist, problem solver, challenger, and advocate, she aims to help businesses maximize their talent and help individuals tap into their strengths and fulfill their purpose.
