Mark Saxby
Helping audiences to get real results on social media while spending less time doing so.
More than just ‘another social media expert’, I combine my experience as an award-winning BBC and ITV journalist with expertise gained after setting up one of the UK’s first specialist social media agencies in 2011. Me and my clients have generated more than £20.6 million in sales through social media.
It’s not enough to know how to use social media, you also need to know how to WIN OVER your target audience. My presentations and workshops show delegates how a more thoughtful use of social media will generate meaningful results for their organisation, helping them to finally get the results they've always wanted. They won’t come away from this session with the tricks and tips they've heard a hundred times before. Instead they'll be inspired to be different. They'll leave determined to raise their social media activity to a new level, making them stand out in a way they've never done so before.
I also deliver a presentation/workshop called Be More Colin, designed to get workers off their mobile/cell phones - leading to an increase in productivity, employee retention, job satisfaction and an aid to good mental health.
I also founded the national Positive Social charity, which goes into schools to teach young people how to take back control of their lives from social media. I regular speak in schools.
"I've been lucky enough to hear Mark Saxby speak twice now - once from the Main Stage of a conference and the other in a workshop setting. Both experiences were eye-opening, entertaining and packed with actionable tips to make LinkedIn / Social Media in general more enjoyable, impactful and time-efficient. What's more, Mark's authentic approach - high integrity and highly personable - really sets him apart. If you are looking for a speaker for your event or an expert consultant for your business, look no further." Kate Trafford, Master Coach.
"I recently saw Mark speak and had to jump on here and give him a recommendation. He was fabulous!!! Not only is he very funny and engaging but it was jam packed with content I left with pages of practical tips. Would definitely recommend Mark for your company or event." Barbara Nixon, Leadership Consultant
"I'll be honest I have seen a lot of social media presentations over the years. Most were a little 'samey' and often quite 'beige', but Mark's really stood out, it is practical, honest and provided some great takeaways for businesses big and small." Lee Jackson, award-winning motivational speaker.
