Over the past 25 years I have mentored hundreds of teams and leaders and worked in various leadership capacities.  During that time I have experienced first hand the stark contrast between the world's approach to leadership and God's approach to leadership.

Just like with anything else in life, when we try to do it some way other than God's, chaos tends to ensue.  This is never more obvious that in the leadership structures of any organization.  Shying away from conflict, poor communication, lack of accountability, and so-on just leads to the erosion of culture and eventually to it's total demise.

As I developed as a leader, I found that ultimately, all of the most successful leaders I knew and respected, had God's core leadership principles engrained deep within them.  They communicated well, had excellent accountability of both themselves and others, confidently dealt with conflict, knew when and how to delegate, and were inspirational leaders who generated enormous amounts of respect among others.  The beauty of it all is that each of these skills and examples on how to implement them can be found in abundance right in our bibles!

My passion is coaching people on these foundational biblical skills and building Godly teams and leaders.  It’s why I founded Bricks & Mortar Leadership; to pass on these age-old, time-tested biblical principles and proven philosophy of leadership.
