Larry (Coach ) McKenzie has been our Keynote speaker for our " Bloomington Future Leaders Conference-Adversity and Diversity-How to be Winner in Today's world" for the last two years. The high school students along with business leaders of the Chamber were on the edge of their seats and thoroughly enjoyed and gave high marks on Larry's talk! Larry has a great message, and is an outstanding motivational speaker! We will definitely use Larry McKenzie for future programs at the Bloomington Chamber of Commerce.

Coach McKenzie, I wanted to thank you for a wonderful presentation at today's STRIVE lunch meeting. It was the perfect message for our students and I heard several comments made by the students afterwards that indicated to me that they were listening. As you know, getting their attention can be a big part of the battle. Thank you again for your time and your message.

Coach Larry McKenzie spoke to the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board Youth Football coaches and his message was filled with inspiration. He presented thoughts and encouragement regarding youth development, positive sportsmanship for coaches, parents and players and a compelling message of what it means to be a coach and have a direct impact on a child's life!

Coach Mckenzie has an amazing connection to our young brothers. He spoke at our school last spring and the next day one of my scholars who had major issue especially at home came to school in full uniform, including a school blazer he borrowed from the dean and a briefcase. He got on track and remains on track.

Hey Coach McKenzie, On behalf of Donnell Gibson and the Gibson Foundation I want to thank you for taking time to engage with our young men, community members and parents as the keynote speaker at the first ever Gibson Foundation's Hope Heals Summer Basketball League Awards and Recognition Banquet. Your message was engaging, entertaining, and affirmed what we had been instilling in the young men during the six weeks league. One of the young men called me the next day and said he liked how you made it personal and talked to them directly. "He didn't even know us and he talked to u like he did know us." It was important for us to show our young men that there are people, and a community who cares about them and that their lives do in fact matter. Coach, please know that even from across the river, you play an important role in helping us build a strong and healthy community. Hey Coach McKenzie, I wanted to extend a sincere thank you for joining us as a speaker this weekend at Wear Orange Day. Your voice and perspective added so much to the day, and I really appreciate that you made time to join us on Saturday. The way you were able to voice the community's challenges, and remind us to remember these struggles, was an important unifying message for the day.
