With over 25 years of healthcare experience across the US and Canada, I have held diverse roles in retail pharmacy and the pharmaceutical industry. I started my career as a staff pharmacist, advancing to pharmacy manager and eventually district manager, where I trained and developed pharmacists into leadership positions. My extensive background in retail pharmacy has given me deep insights into operations, management, and team development.
In the pharmaceutical industry, I worked in sales, medical affairs, and compliance, holding critical positions such as medical science liaison (MSL), medical director, and compliance director. During this time, I trained pharmaceutical executives, developed strategic partnerships with key opinion leaders, and led initiatives such as publication strategies, medical congresses, patient service programs, and the review of pharmaceutical assets.
Now, as the creator of The Pharmacist Pivot Playbook, I coach pharmacists who are looking to transition from traditional roles into nontraditional pharmacy careers. This program is designed to equip pharmacists with the skills, confidence, and strategies needed to navigate career shifts into areas like telehealth, digital health, regulatory affairs, pharmaceutical industry and consulting.
