Did you know only 1 in 3 people on earth have access to safe drinking water? Or that 2 out of 3 people on earth in any given year have water scarcity for at least 1 month.

This all came to me in a burst. I was listening to the BBC one evening. Floods were wreaking havoc in Pakistan. Kids were getting sick and dying simply because they couldnt get a clean glass of water, even though water was everywhere. I thought: "there has to be a solution." It spurred me into action.

I am lucky enough to have 2 beautiful daughters, whom I love dearly. It scares me to think that they, or their children will be in a situation where they dont have access to safe drinking water. Or are part of a world in conflict over remaining drinking water sources. It is often said that the next world war will be fought over fresh water supply.

In order to turn this ship around, we must invest in solutions that are:

1) Sustainable

2) Safe

3) Simple

4) Scalable

5) Self Sufficient

6) Saving money and resources.

I am a passionate speaker who will use data, stories, personal experiences and a touch of humour to deliver the message. I speak in front of others at least twice per week and can hold an audience.
