I first became aware of team dynamics when I lived in China, in my 20s. Since then, I have enjoyed working with diverse teams from many perspectives and industries. However, today's disengagement epidemic affecting two-thirds of employees fueled me to launch FYR.
My name is Erica Emmett, and I am the founder of FYR Consulting US LLC (FYR), a certified micro, small, and woman-owned business dedicated to empowering individuals and teams to improve well-being by uncovering and leaning into their strengths.
My mission is to enable organizations and their team members to succeed by embedding a culture of understanding and collaboration using Gallup Strengths or DiSC workshops, as well as tailored content to meet an organizations’ needs. I also created and facilitate a Gallup Strengths-based leadership course in partnership with my local chamber of commerce. One recent graduate said "This class improved my mental wellbeing because I learned that there is no one or two ways to be a leader. I can lean into my strengths as a leader and still fill the leadership requirements and responsibilities of my company.”
I have an M.A. in Organizational Leadership and became a Gallup Certified Strengths Coach and DiSC Practitioner to help individuals and organizations improve their teamwork, communication, engagement, and overall mental and physical well-being.
