Jean helps audiences change their relationship with money, reducing stress and providing clarity. Jean's financial personality model is a unique, accessible path to financial independence.
With over 25 years of experience in the financial industry, Jean is intimately familiar with the terrible job the industry has done explaining money to normal people, and is on a mission to help people better connect with their finances!
Despite the fact that Jean is a Certified Financial Planner, she didn’t start out making great financial decisions. In fact, Jean grew up as a spender in a family of savers, and found herself in thousands of dollars in credit card debt in her early 20s. But Jean changed her own relationship with money to become an intentional spender, and purposefully made financial choices to create the life that she wants - which includes multiple sources of income and a beautiful home in the Virgin Islands.
Today, Jean is an entrepreneur, keynote speaker and yoga teacher. Her keynotes help individuals change their relationship with money by understanding their financial personality.
Our attitudes and beliefs about money are shaped by early childhood experiences that many have never explored. Once you understand why you feel the way you do about money, you learn how to change your relationship with your finances going forward.
Jean has the ability to connect with groups that often feel alienated from their finances, including women and younger investors. Jean’s book, “Breaking the Money Taboo” helps women change their relationship with money and was released in the fall of 2023.
