Helping audiences better understand their God-given role in the lives of the next generation and teaching them how to create deeper connections with the young people around them

Mandie is a certified professional life coach, Bible teacher, speaker, and published writer. She is the founder and visionary of Brave Girls Gather, a ministry that refuses to leave the next generation behind by equipping women with resources that help them create safe and engaging spaces for girls to process life and faith in light of the God’s character and Truth.

She has a powerful story of brokenness to wholeness. Experiencing the betrayal of spiritual authority as a young teen, she rejected God and chose her own way. She navigated teenage pregnancy, single-motherhood, and broken relationships before falling back into the arms of Jesus in her late twenties. It was then that she met an older woman who began discipling her. Sharing long-held secrets and processing childhood pain in light of the Gospel with this woman started her on the road to freedom. She knows the transformative power of a “safe space.”

She has served on a church staff, where she helped launch a student recovery ministry, led multiple bible studies, hosted events, and served on numerous leadership teams. She has been invited to guest speak at local Bible studies and groups.

She was involved with the ministry IF: Gathering for four years, where she served as an IF:Local leader and State Coach for Florida. Her story was highlighted in the IF: Equip study Woven. She was the director of the well-attended IF:Local event, IF:Tampa, which appeared live on IF:Gathering 2017. She was a spokesperson for IF:Local leadership and invited to speak at a private IF:Gathering fundraising event.

As a speaker, she helps audiences understand their role in the lives of the next generation. Mental health concerns among teens are at an all-time high, and so is the absence of adult connection and involvement in their lives.

Drawing upon 10+ years of experience serving youth and mentoring teens and young adults, along with her biblical understanding and years of research on this topic, she teaches audiences how to better connect with the young people around them and what it looks like to meaningfully invest in their lives. The result is more young people grounded in their faith, living out their purpose with confidence and courage.

After hearing her speak, audiences will understand that investing in the next generation isn't just a good idea. It's God's design for us, and they have what it takes.
