Michael's story is both heartbreaking and inspiring. He shares with deep transparency the many challenges he has faced from childhood through and beyond his service as a Marine, and how he has learned to preserver, overcome, bounce-back stronger. His book and speech provides specific steps he learned and puts in practice to deal with any type of setback life brings one's way. These steps in his process are ones that anyone can adopt and put into practice to help them move forward and not be defeated by the challenges they face. Michael inspired me to look UP, not down, UP, not backward in order to heal and move forward.
