My name is Margaret O'Connor and I speak about God's faithfulness through trials and sin to help my audiences partner with their Creator and build a resilient faith and prayer life.
I tell my stories because my God has remained faithful to me when my heart has told me nothing but lies. I give this keynote to remind Christians of the God they serve so that they can build a resilient faith and persevere through anything life throws at them.
The first time I spoke in front an audience was my senior year of high school. I had applied for a scholarship with the Denver Museum of Contemporary Art. I memorized a speech about a book I had written and presented it to a board of judges and a live audience. I didn't get the scholarship, but a lot of advice. Competitors, parents, and judges alike told me I ought to pursue public speaking as a career.
After presenting my research at international conferences, and presenting my testimony at college worship services and countless church events, I realized more and more that this is something I'm good at. If you're looking for a keynote at your Christian conference, I'm your speaker.
