Connectifier | Inclusion Strategist | Entrepreneur & Thought Partner | Building Inclusive & Radically Connected Cultures
--Firm belief in the power of connectedness to change the world-
Hi, there, I’m Dr. Rosalind F. Cohen (a.k.a. Dr. Roz)!
I’m a “Connectifier” who helps organizations build inclusive, radically connected cultures of belonging that benefit individuals and drive business growth.
My Story
I founded Socius Strategies, an inclusion advisory and strategy practice based in San Francisco, after years of moving across the US in search of a place where I belong. This search for belonging kickstarted a lifelong journey of delving into topics like belonging, inclusion, and community.
I truly believe that there is a need for more vulnerability, more acceptance, and more relationships rooted in courage - in workplaces, in civic communities, and within ourselves. The power of connectedness can change the world.
Education & Approach
I earned my Ph.D. in Leadership and Change from Antioch University. My dissertation explored the impact inclusive leadership has on employee engagement and organizational success. The research and data led me to conceptualize a new methodology on how to operationalize and systematize inclusion to create radically progressive company cultures rooted in connectedness.
Today
In addition to working with business owners & HR leaders through my advisory practice, I am also a public speaker, a board member, a mom of two hilarious teens, a foodie, and a travel enthusiast.
And on occasion, my colleagues and peers refer to me as a “belonging badass.”
Reach out to me for:
- Advisory on inclusive leadership, belonging & employee engagement
- Insights on DEIB and how to connect culture & operations
- Keynotes, panel discussions and smart conversation without small talk
“We will all profit from a more diverse, inclusive society, understanding, accommodating, even celebrating our differences, while pulling together for the common good.” -Ruth Bader Ginsburg
