CAPP, CRT, MLCT
MO, USI am passionate about teaching people the mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual skillsets of resilience. Yes, resilience can be taught and I believe that every person should have these tools in their tool belt. The tools of resilience apply to companies as much as they do to individuals.
As a certified resilience trainer (CRT), certified by The Flourishing Center, NY, NY. I teach groups, companies, and individuals the mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual skillsets of resilience.
Organizational resilience not only keeps your organization keep moving forward when challenges arise, it provides tools that you and your team can use inside and outside your organization.
I witnessed first hand the power of resilience when I taught at a career college. I was intentional in incorporating the skillsets of resilience to my students. I had a 92% placement rate for my students far surpassing the 67% expected benchmark. I attribute a large portion of this to teaching my students to apply these skillsets to the obstacles they faced in education and life.
I have spent most of my career working with the military, as civilian and as a contractor. When I learned about Post Traumatic Growth (PTG), I knew I had to share it with those who I felt needed it most. I am an advocate for educating people on this topic of hope. I have shared individually and presented on this topic in my work on military installations, for police departments, fire departments, and for Wellness for Warriors. If you haven't heard about post traumatic growth, contact me, I can't wait to share this little known term, with BIG benefits.
