Tim Cokely

Tim Cokely is the creator of The Six Pivots — a leadership framework built across thirty-three years as a head football coach, six state championships, six year-one program turnarounds, and fifteen assistant coaches who walked out of his staff room ready to lead programs of their own.

Tim's work focuses on one thing: building teams that last when the leader is fighting the imposter — the voice every leader knows, the one that shows up at your greatest success and tells you the verdict is still coming. He spent his coaching career leading under it. The framework that came out of that work is what he now delivers to coaching staffs, leadership teams, school administrators, corporate executives, and any organization whose people are leading under high stakes and high private doubt.

His book, The Six Pivots: How Leaders Build Teams That Last When the Imposter Voice Won't Quit, releases in 2026. A documentary about his coaching career, produced by Steadman Video Productions, releases in August 2026.

Tim is a six-time Bobby Bowden Coach of the Year, a Dairy Farmers State of Florida Coach of the Year, and a ten-time District Coach of the Year. His teams have been honored on the steps of the Florida State Capitol by the Governor of Florida. He is a John Maxwell Certified Coach, holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Master's degree in leadership, and is certified to teach in eight subjects.

Tim lives in Tallahassee, Florida, with his wife Amy. They have five grown children. He speaks worldwide on leadership, team building, and the work of leading under the imposter voice.
