I invited Michelle to apply to speak at the very first Fearless Women's Summit here in Minneapolis. Because this was my first time hosting this event through One Woman, I wanted to bring in experienced speakers who combine a powerful delivery with the ability to inspire women from all walks of life. It was no surprise when the owner of One Woman, Sharla Brown, selected her from a pool of amazing applications. From the time she was selected to speak on my stage, Michelle was responsive to communications, showed up to multiple pre-event meetings, and most importantly, provided everything I asked of her in a timely manner. The day before the event, she arrived early to set up her table and complete a tech check. Event planners know how hard it is to fill the seats at events. Not only did Michelle participate in an optional Livestream interview to help promote the event, but she also regularly invited her network to join us on social media. Her promotion efforts were very much appreciated, and her interview well-received. She also worked well with our sponsor and videographer throughout the process. When she took the stage, she inspired a high level of audience engagement- not an easy feat for an after-lunch speaking spot and fully engaged in all activities during the event. Bill’s Distributing had Michelle Von Ruden of Von Ruden Consulting do DISC and leadership training to a core group of our management team. We did a DISC and reviewed the results and then followed up with 3 other training sessions to help our leaders grow by understanding how to communicate with each style of personalities. She was very knowledgeable and made the classes engaging. She also worked with us to do 4 classes that were 1.5 hours in length versus a full day of training, which fits in our schedules much better.
