Susan Omilian JD, a nationally recognized expert, has advocated for over forty years to end to violence against women. An attorney, award-winning author, trainer and motivational speaker, Susan is the originator and facilitator of My Avenging Angel WorkshopsTM based on the idea that living well is the best revenge. Since 2002, inspired by the death of her nineteen-year-old niece Maggie killed in 1999 by her ex-boyfriend, Susan’s work has helped hundreds of women take the “life-changing” journey from victim to survivor to thriver as Maggie could not. Susan has also facilitated psycho-educational groups with male domestic violence offenders and presented her work at national and international conferences as well as to service providers, male/female inmates, Indian tribes and the military. Her workshops, trainings and non-fiction and fiction books are produced by Butterfly Bliss Productions LLC, doing business as Thriver Zone.
