"Dewayne Hart delivers dynamic, results-driven cybersecurity keynotes that empower leaders to predict and prevent threats, bridge the gap between technology and strategy, and build security-first cultures that fuel innovation, resilience, and long-term business success."

As cyber threats escalate in speed and sophistication, the security landscape requires advanced knowledge through awareness, activation, and improved cybersecurity. This is where Dewayne Hart works best. He is an all-cyber professional who believes cybersecurity is no longer just a technical issue—it is a leadership, mindset, and quality-of-life challenge that affects how we live, work, and connect.

Known for delivering common-sense strategies and actionable roadmaps, Hart helps businesses and citizens stay proactive against rapidly evolving threat actors in an increasingly digital world.

At the core of his approach is a simple but powerful idea: to defend effectively, people must learn to think like adversaries. Hart equips his audiences with the knowledge, resources, and tools to put on a “Hacker’s Hat,” enabling them to anticipate threats before they become incidents.

Before entering the commercial IT sector, Hart spent 20 years in the U.S. Navy, where he specialized in maintaining computer systems and weapons defense platforms. That experience shaped his mission-focused discipline and operational approach to cybersecurity.

In 2014, he founded Secure Managed Instructional Systems, LLC (SEMAIS), a cybersecurity advisory and workforce development firm dedicated to cyber defense, risk management, and resilience, guided by its motto: “Sustaining 360-Degree Cyber Visibility.”

Hart is a recognized voice in the cybersecurity community and the host of the Chief of Cybersecurity platform, where he explores how cybersecurity directly impacts everyday digital life. His work spans artificial intelligence, cybersecurity leadership, cyber awareness, workforce modernization, and cybercrime, bridging technical realities with leadership accountability.

He is the author of two books that explore how mindset and leadership—not just technology—shape digital safety: The Cybersecurity Mindset and Cybersecurity Leadership – How to Develop a Successful Mentality and Win.

From the National Cybersecurity Summit to Incyber Forum and Techno Security & Digital Forensics Conference, Hart has inspired executives, practitioners, and students alike.

His mission is clear: to empower people everywhere to be informed, proactive, and resilient in the digital world.
