In Your Shoes: Walking Through The Stories of Us, The heart-opening, interactive keynote where audiences don’t just leave inspired—their stories become the inspiration.
Something extraordinary happens when we pause, look someone in the eye, and hear their story—not to respond, but to understand. In those moments, we stop being strangers and start becoming us.
In this heart-opening and interactive keynote, Melissa Majors invites audiences into a shared experience of listening, learning, and connecting through the transformative power of personal storytelling. With warmth, humor, and authenticity, Melissa shares pivotal...
Help Them Thrive®: The Science and Soul of Human-Centered Leadership
Imagine a workplace where people don’t just survive—they thrive. Where conversations are filled with curiosity instead of conflict. Where feedback fuels growth instead of fear. Where trust runs deep, and success is shared.
That’s not a fantasy. It’s a choice. And it starts with how we lead—ourselves and each other. In this transformational session, Melissa Majors blends behavioral science, relatable...
Help Her Thrive: Leadership Strategies for Women’s Success
Thriving leaders don’t hoard power—they share it. They create environments where everyone can grow, contribute, and thrive. But let’s be realistic: women in the workplace often face unique challenges that make success harder than it should be. Covert competition, microaggressions, lack of sponsorship, the tightrope between authenticity and assimilation, increased scrutiny—you name it.
Thriving Connections: Meaningful Networking and Better Relationships
Let’s be honest—our "peopling" skills are a little rusty. After years of Zoom calls and sweatpants, the idea of walking into a room full of strangers and networking might sound about as appealing as a dentist appointment. We default to small talk, stick with the people we already know, and collect business cards we’ll never look at again.
But what if networking could actually be fun, natural, and, dare we say… effective?
Mesmerize: Present to Captivate & Inspire
Let’s face it—most presentations are forgettable. People zone out, check their phones, and politely nod while secretly thinking about lunch. But what if your presentations could actually mesmerize your audience and persuade them to act on your guidance?
It’s entirely possible: thanks to advances in neuroscience, we now know what makes people pay attention, retain information, and actually remember what you said.
The 7 Simple Habits of Inclusive Leaders
Inclusive leaders don’t just hope for inclusion in their teams—they build it into everything they do. But what does that actually look like? What specific actions set fair leaders and teams apart?
In this powerful and practical session, leadership expert Melissa Majors reveals a simple truth: the inclusive leaders don’t leave fairness to chance. Their tactics are simple yet profoundly impact their team’s performance,...
Busy Bosses: Leadership Lessons for Leaders Who Don’t Have Time for Leadership Lessons
You want to be a better leader. Of course, you do. But let’s be honest—who has time for leadership training? Not you. You’re too busy actually leading.
Here’s the problem: your team’s success (and your sanity) depends on your ability to evolve as a leader. But if you don’t have time to learn new leadership skills, how are you supposed to keep up?
That’s where Busy...

Verified @lipservicemakeup.com"I'm a veteran wedding pro who belongs to lots of organizations and goes to a TON of educational events. I've not only seen a bunch of speakers, I am one myself! When I go to these events, I'm totally fine with being entertained by someone who's engaging, personal, and funny, and I'm definitely good with learning solid takeaways and strategies I can actually use. Getting both in equal measure? Count me IN! Melissa is full of sparkle...her smile and engaging way about her is speaker gold; we were all hanging on every word. Everyone really got a kick out of her networking tips and the table exercises that got the audience even more involved. Yeah, we all learned something, but it was FUN, and you can't forget that! Being a business owner is NOT easy these days...the economy is rough, and constantly figuring out how to sell when everything keeps changing is tough. Having an experienced and engaging speaker who lifted us up and made us all smile was seriously needed, and so appreciated. I wouldn't think twice about recommending Melissa as a speaker!"

Verified @wespeak.bmMelissa brought what our community needed to our Signature Event Series: clarity, connection, and a call to thrive. As the keynote for our three-part Signature Event Series spanning a coach workshop, teen girls’ session, and a community-wide gathering, Melissa brought clarity, warmth, and brilliance to every room she entered. Her ability to connect across generations and backgrounds is truly remarkable. She didn’t just speak to our audience; she activated something within them, which showed brilliantly in the engagement across all sessions. We witnessed women and girls step into their voices, lean into their confidence, acknowledge skills that need their focus, and leave with the tools to truly thrive. Melissa’s message lives far beyond the stage, it will leave a ripple effect across our community and the extended communities of our attendees.

"Melissa Majors was deeply personable, engaging, and thoughtful as the general session keynote speaker at the Missouri REALTORS® 2024 Fall Business Conference. In her keynote, she captured the audience with her humor, approachability, and skill to connect her expertise to the larger industry. The infusion of her and her parents lived experiences allowed for a human touch on the importance of inclusivity, while her message delivery went beyond her experience by outlining how our members could intentionally incorporate inclusivity in their businesses. Melissa went beyond just being a keynote speaker. She attended governance meetings of our organization to engage members, attended an evening social event hosted by one of our member organizations separate from Missouri REALTORS® hiring her, and she spent the time to engage with a multitude of the hundreds of members in attendance at the conference throughout the day. She truly went above the traditional speaker and actively engaged to understand our members to deliver an impactful message. Overall, we strongly recommend others to have Melissa speak at their future events. Melissa and her team are refreshingly collaborative throughout the planning process, which made the experience for our staff and members a success."

The focus of this years Leadership Institute was on becoming a better inclusive leader and our discussion was lead by Melissa Majors. First of all, a huge shoutout to Melissa who was one of the best presenters/educators I have worked with. The style in which she presents, the way she included active participation with the entire class and her PASSION for the message all came together perfectly. I’ve never felt as engaged for a full day and a half as I did with her last week. Melissa focused on The 7 Simple Habits of Inclusive Leaders (she also published a book on this so check it out) and how to incorporate these habits with the style you lead, the direction of your business and your organizations values. Some of the takeaways were truly eye opening and some were a great and much needed reminders of things we should already be doing anyway. Most importantly I left thinking about one major thing— treat humans like humans. It’s so simple and it removes all the tags, labels, stereotypes, preconceived notions etc. from anyone you interact with in life. We all could use an occasional perspective shift and a reminder to lead with empathy and to focus on collaboration throughout.

Over my many years in association management, few speakers have made as big an impact on audiences as Melissa Majors. Texas Nursery & Landscape Association (TNLA) had Melissa speak twice in 3 months. The TNLA Board of Directors engaged her regarding a diversity message that could be carried forward to the membership. Because of the overwhelming strength of her message and delivery, the Board participated in, understood, and celebrated her message of inclusiveness. The messages resonated beyond their roles as Board members but also as small business owners and their relationships. Of course, we had her back!! Two months later, she keynoted a session at our Hort Forum. We continue to get feedback that her essential message was heard and will change how some look at their world forever.
